May, 2010 Rally Highlights

Below is something new - a slide show of pictures from our May Rally. If you click on the Title above, it go to our Web Album page for larger renditions of the pictures.

Hosts for our Memorial Day rally were Charlie & Doris Kline, Walt & Beryl Linden, Tom & Sharon Roule, Gene & Donna Struble and George & Millie Worden. A 5 day rally require's lots of help and this group had that!

Walt Linden highlighted the Saturday games with group mixer getting folks to tell their innermost secrets.

We had PERFECT weather, good food and things to do. Friday, Pizza was supplied by Leisure's Restaurant. Saturday was highlighted by Millie Worden's oatmeal for breakfast. Sunday dinner was catered (AKA "pot luck") by our member cooks. Sunday morning breakfast was highlighted by Millie Worden and Charlie Kline making pancakes to go with sausage.

Sunday afternoon was spent playing our first "OctaMixer-thon" - games. Dinner was pulled pork made by our hosts. After dinner was a "pound auction" hosted by Nelson Hansen and Gene Struble.

Monday was MEMORIAL DAY where we get a chance to honor our fallen veterans. Folks left with a continental breakfast to aid their travels.

We will be coming back next year.
